We do escort as well as simultaneous interpreting. For the latter we can provide interpreting equipment via our contracted partner.

Types of interpreting
Escort interpreting
Its purpose is to support semi- or non-formal communication. There are more people involved and the interpreting goes both ways. It is also referred to as liaison interpreting.
- Two-way communication
- Sentence-by-sentence interpreting of conversations
- Suitable for visits, presentations and workshops
Consecutive interpreting
Consecutive interpreting is when the translation follows the speech in smaller blocks and the speaker, the audience and the interpreter are side by side. It is particularly used during meetings and negotiations.

Simultaneous interpreting
The interpreter listens to the speaker via a headphone, has a direct view of the hall (screen, speaker, etc.) and simultaneously interprets what is being said. It is also called conference or cabin interpreting.

- Booth interpreting, simultaneous with the speaker’s speech
- Suitable for conferences
Whispered interpreting
It is simultaneous interpreting done for one or some people in a larger group, when the interpreter whispers the translation into the ear of the listener(s). It is also called chuchotage interpreting.
